Community Outreach


It is a very important component of our mission at GCI Inc. to connect with other community organizations, but more importantly to highlight mutual issues of concern by using performance poetry to enhance our community partners’ events and fundraisers.  Greenhouse performers and staff have participated in  NAACP Centennial Celebration,Western Kentucky University's Women's Studies Program: Women and Children Learning Together Camp, Go Green Bowling Green, Warren Regional Juvenile Detention Center's Miracle on Kentucky Street, Young Professionals of Bowling Green Luncheon, Art Attacks by The Capitol Arts Center of Bowling Green, Arts of Southern Kentucky Showcase, and Hope Harbor's Take Back the Night, just to name a few.  Greenhouse poets have often written material specifically for other organizations and generally only charge a modest fee for these services.  If you would like the Greenhouse Poetry to perform at a special event for your organization please contact us today.
